All things in common is a mission driven ministry that seeks to develop the heart, the knowledge and the tools necessary to bring into being the modern Acts 2 church. (sentence structure needs work) The believer is the witness of Christ. The church is the community that the believer lives in. We were instructed by Christ and organized by the apostles. The recorded example given us is that the church, or the community of believers is meant to fellowship. Within the body are many parts. Some are co creators with God. Their purpose is not to tithe a lot so that the church can build bigger buildings. Our cocreators create opportunity. Some are administrators, some healers and so on. In it’s totality all needs can be met. The community incubates wealth, arbitrates disagreement, preserves order and provides for the health and well being of the body of believers.
We believe that through this example we live more completely in this world, building the kingdom of God here on earth, not of this world. Critical to this more literal understanding of what it means to provide for one another also comes a much deeper understanding of how God views money and what the word says about wealth. The church must always look out, give freely and seek to meet needs. Giving freely is part of the design intent and necessary to prevent the destruction that comes with self focus.
All things in common will begin by inviting men into fellowship. A digital and local regional chapter will be formed and we will seek to develop a deeper understanding of what it means to share. We will work cooperatively to prove out what works. Developing guidelines and processes for growing wealth together. Simultaneously we will identify needs and seek ways to meet them. Using a digital platform to host tools and testimony alike we will share with the body of believers and fulfill the great commission.
Once firmly established, we envision a second phase that reinforces the activities of the first. A foundation will be formed. The purpose will be to underwrite and re insure new commercial activities wherever they take root. Finally, the full realization of the primary vision for our movement is to interconnect and develop a protocol that serves to replace existing shared ownership and capital structures with a model that aligns to the church community design rather than the current corporate model.
The over arching theme… We were instructed not to conduct business in the temple. The church is the community in which the body of believers lives. Commerce was never meant to be stripped out of life within the church. It is the duty of the church to incubate wealth and help provide for the health and well being of the body.
